Yes, you read that correct, almost two years ago! When we first met with Xavier, he prioritized learning about our housing goals and wants, but he also prioritized learning about us as people. He wanted to learn what was important to us, what we valued, and how we felt we could best be supported in our homebuying process. In my past home-buying experiences, I've worked with realtors who are consistently communicative in a way that I felt pressured to make a purchase before I was ready. Xavier was the opposite of this. He would check in regularly with us, not from a place of "Are you ready to buy yet?", but from a place of "Is there anything I can do to support you?"
