A lot of home buyers don't have a complete understanding of the real estate brokerage process works and how real estate agents get paid.  You may have seen headlines and reporting from the media about changes with real estate commissions.    There are a new proposed regulations essentially establish two things:

1. Buyer Agent compensation is to be established between a buyer agent and their client.   It will not longer be dictated by the seller.
2.  It will requires buyers and their agents to sign written contracts in order to view properties and work together through a real estate transaction.  

The industry is evolving and North Shore and More is ahead of the curve.  Simply put, North Shore and More buyer agents will continue provide clients valuable consulting, resources, and service throughout the buying process.  We will provide this service at a very competitive rate.  This rate is to be negotiated between a North Shore and More Agent and their client at the onset of the buyer journey...when a working relationship has been established.    It is our belief, along with that of many industry experts, that sellers will continue to provide concessions to buyer's agents at closing, not requiring the buyer to pay out of pocket for agent services.  The market will determine whether or not this practice continues in due time.
